19Do You Have Dark Spots Under Your Eyes? They Could Be Your “Unshed Tears”.
Filed in: Mental Healing by admin on 12-19-09In Traditional Chinese Medicine, looking at facial features could reveal hidden physical illness. The Chinese fortune tellers also have a system of identifying a person’s destiny by looking at the face too.
In certain religions, it is said that a person’s face is shaped by his mind. The thoughts give rise to certain expressions on the face depending on the emotional feelings.
A mole or a spot, even freckles, can tell a lot about both the person’s health and happiness. They can indeed reveal information that can really help you comprehend what you are currently going through emotionally.
Based on my experience as a counseling therapist, lines or wrinkles on a person’s forehead, especially those between the eyebrows, can disappear after releasing the hidden stress.
I want to share with you, another diagnostic method for hidden stress. They are under your eyes. People develop dark patches under their eyes if they have lack of sleep or rest. Some even develop into puffy bags. I am not talking about these.
What I am referring to are redness or dark spots UNDER the eyes. It normally appears as redness under the eyes and after a while, it turns dark, but not black. According to Chinese face reading, any signs on the face can relate to three different aspects of a person’s life situation. First it could be a message about physical health; secondly, it might reveal something to do with emotions; or thirdly, it could be linked to certain situations in the person’s life. At times, it’s only related to one of those things, sometimes two, and often all three.
Don’t be surprised, this can sometimes be found amongst women aged in their late 30s onwards. These under-eyes color or spots reveal the emotional self, called “Unshed-Tears”. These are the emotions coming up or need to be felt, but often repressed. If the color is red, it is a current issue, and it they are dark, it could be old feelings from yesteryears.
Grief that has been kept under the rug for years are often the cause of this redness or dark patches. It could be the lost of loved ones, or sudden grief that the person has not cried out at that time.
Whichever the case, if you noticed colors under the eyes, before you start going to your medical doctor, you may like to try addressing the emotional causes first.
Look at yourself at the mirror and ask yourself, “Why do I have this patch? What is it that has been troubling me?” Repeat about 30 times and listen quietly to your heart. The first instantaneous reply, (just like an inspiration, or an inner voice calling to you) will most likely be the answer. Sometimes, tears will start to flow uncontrollably. Whichever the case, believe yourself and do not doubt the reply. It is your inner true voice expressing itself. Cry it out if possible, and do not control your feelings.
This has a beautifying effect on the skin as well as a therapeutic effect on the mind or soul.
It works on my clients all the time. You can try it too. Its free to use anyway!
Thank you, I Love You!
